About S.P.L.A.S.H

Newcomer tailored service that offers 6 weeks plus 6 months of intensive programming through interactive group and individual session of career related guidance in occupation specific alternative solutions within professions and trades that are in demand in Ontario. Program offers experiential learning with industry and sector of choice through mentoring, coaching, observation, shadowing, working, resource sharing and volunteering.

  • Practical workplace experience, accreditation, and trades
  • Identification of competencies, strengths, and skills

Eligibility

  • Recipients of Ontario Works (OW)
  • Newcomers, Permanent Residents, Refugees (Conventional or Claimant)
  • Internationally-educated professionals, Trades people, all legally entitled to work
  • Out of work, Unemployed and Underemployed
  • Individuals with Language level CBL 4+
