About Preparation for Integrated Employment Services

The Learning Disabilities Association of Toronto (LDATD) partners with WCG International Consultants Ltd. (WCG Services) as part of the Preparation for Integrated Employment Services (IES) initiative. Funded by Employment Ontario, this program is designed to equip individuals with learning disabilities and other inclusion groups with the foundational skills, support, and resources needed to transition successfully into the IES program. Through tailored workshops, coaching, and individualized support, participants gain the confidence and capabilities required to achieve meaningful and sustainable employment.

Program Goals

The primary goal of the Preparation for IES program is to ensure participants are well-prepared for the Integrated Employment Services by enhancing their job readiness, addressing life stabilization needs, and building essential skills for workplace success. The program aims to bridge the gap between current participant capabilities and the demands of the workforce, promoting long-term independence and positive community involvement.

Eligibility

The Preparation for IES program is open to individuals legally eligible to work in Canada, including Canadian citizens, permanent residents, newcomers, and those with valid open work visas. The program prioritizes inclusion groups such as Indigenous Peoples, Francophones, People with Disabilities, Youth with Higher Support Needs, Newcomers, Racialized People, and individuals with learning disabilities.
